WHAT: Watering and tree care for baby native plants we recently put in the ground. 🙂
WHERE: Harney Street entrance, ¼ mile east of the intersection of SE Harney and SE 45th Ave.
Tri-met bus: #75 (bus stop Harney/SE 45th) Walk east ¼ mile up Harney Drive.
Bike/Walk on the Springwater Corridor trail: www.PortlandOregon.gov/parks/springwatermap. Exit trail at the SE 45th St. entrance and then ride a short distance north to the corner of Harney Drive/SE 45th. Ride ¼ mile east up Harney Drive.
Note: No experience necessary! Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes you don’t mind getting wet and/or muddy. Bring a water bottle, and consider sun protection. Instruction, tools, gloves, water and coffee/tea provided. Children welcome, and must be accompanied by an attentive adult. If you are under 18 and are planning to attend without a parent or guardian, your parent will need to sign a waiver which you will bring with you to the event.
