Join Portland Parks & Recreation, Johnson Creek Watershed Council and the Friends of Errol Heights to complete important ecological enhancement projects at this little gem of a Park.
Task: Watering baby trees, litter pick-up, and some invasive species removal.
No experience necessary! Wear long thick pants, a long-sleeved shirt and sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle, rain gear, warm clothes and a sunhat. Instruction, tools, gloves, water, coffee/tea and snacks provided. Children welcome, and must be accompanied by an attentive adult.
Meet at: Tenino Drive entrance, at the corner of SE 52nd Ave & SE Tenino Drive
Tri-met bus: #75 (bus stop Harney/SE 45th) Walk east ¼ mile up SE Harney Drive, take the main trail through Errol Heights to the park entrance on SE 52nd.
Bike/Walk on the Springwater Corridor trail: www.PortlandOregon.gov/parks/springwatermap. Exit trail at the SE 45th St. entrance and then ride a short distance north to the corner of Harney Drive/SE 45th. Ride ¼ mile east up Harney Drive.
