Meet the Board
March 11 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
This is an exciting time for the JCWC board! We’re currently recruiting new volunteer board members to join the team, and would like to invite you personally to attend this meeting and get a feel for the experience. It’s more than just meetings. It’s connections- with people that live in the watershed, businesses and organizations that impact the environment, with the land and water itself that JCWC strives to restore and protect, and more.
Board and committee membership with nonprofits comes with may benefits including professional connections, personal relationships with people you may not have otherwise met, a behind the scenes look at what goes into running (environmental) nonprofits, and valuable perspective on work that strives to make positive change in the world. JCWC board members are dedicated volunteers that come from a variety of backgrounds and professional experiences/career pathways. Besides our regular meetings every two months, each board member serves on a committee related to some aspect of keeping our work going. Do you have a knack for communications and outreach? Experience and connections in real estate, agriculture or fundraising? If so, and if you’re dedicated to ensuring natural areas in the watershed stay healthy and clean, join us March 11th! Address is 4033 SE Woodstock Blvd., Keiter Hall, Portland, OR 97202
During non-holiday months, board meetings are usually held on the second Monday of all of the odd months from 5:30pm-7:30pm. If you have any questions, or are unsure of meeting details contact [email protected], or call 503-652-7477 ext. 103
