Naturescape Planting at Hazeltine Park

December 1 @ 8:45 am - 12:00 pm

Free
Help put the finishing touches on the Hazeltine Park Nature Patch – a new project of Portland Parks and Recreation! We’re bringing nature to this neighborhood park with tons of awesome pollinator-friendly plants. We’ll install almost a thousand plants and cut the ribbon on the new natural landscape here with the guest of honor and park namesake, Dick Hazeltine.
WHEN: Saturday, December 1, from 9am-12pm. Arrive around 8:45 to register and have some breakfast snacks!
WHERE: Hazeltine Park – 5416 SE Flavel Drive. Meeting spot: Center of the park – it’s a small park, you can’t miss us. Parking: on street parking available nearby in the neighborhood. Transit options include nearby bus stops on lines 71 and 75.
WHAT TO BRING: Dress for the weather, and bring a water bottle.
WHO: Everyone is welcome. If you’re under 18 and want to attend without a parent or guardian, they will need to sign a waiver which you’ll bring with you to the event. Please contact [email protected] to get this waiver.
