Live Virtual Science Talk: Locating cold water using emerging temperature sensing technology

Join US Geological Survey Hydrologist Adam Stonewall as he shares his research on locating cold water in the lake at Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden in Portland. The technology Adam used resembles a fiber optic cable and senses temperature at more than a thousand points per kilometer.
