Errol Heights Natural Area (Inner Southeast)

Join Portland Parks & Recreation, Johnson Creek Watershed Council and the Friends of Errol Heights to complete important ecological enhancement projects at this little gem of a Park. We will be picking up litter and planting native bareroot shrubs to provide habitat for insects, birds and other animals, but also beauty and better air quality for the neighborhood and Park visitors. No experience necessary! Wear long thick pants, a long-sleeved shirt and sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle, rain gear, warm clothes and a sunhat. Instruction, tools, gloves, water, coffee/tea and snacks provided. Children welcome, and must be accompanied by an attentive adult.
Meet at: Harney Street entrance, ¼ mile east of the intersection of SE Harney and SE 45th Ave.
Tri-met bus: #75 (bus stop Harney/SE 45th) Walk east ¼ mile up Harney Drive.
Bike/Walk on the Springwater Corridor trail: www.PortlandOregon.gov/parks/springwatermap. Exit trail at the SE 45th St. entrance and then ride a short distance north to the corner of Harney Drive/SE 45th. Ride ¼ mile east up Harney Drive.
