Hello all Friends of Tideman Johnson,
Portland Parks & Recreation has been closely monitoring the windstorm that is forecast to hit the Portland area Saturday morning. The forecast has been upgraded to a High Wind Warning, with sustained winds in the 20s and gusts up to 45-50 miles per hour. This is well above the conditions that are considered safe in the woods, so we have decided to cancel our restoration event tomorrow, April 7th.
So please, stay home, hunker down, and hope the power doesn’t go out. We’ll see you all out in Tideman Johnson on May 5th.
WHAT: Join the Friends of Tideman Johnson in their monthly restoration work party
WHEN: April 7, 9am-12pm

Or from the SE 45th trailhead, bike or walk the Springwater Corridor Trail west to Tideman Johnson Park. Follow the path to the left to the boardwalk. Accessible by bus on the 34 and 75.
