August 27-October 7
Johnson Creek Days are a series of free community
events meant to raise watershed awareness through the month of September.
Through recreational events like biking, painting,
and running folks will be exploring Johnson Creek; perhaps in places never
seen before. Volunteers will be working to make the watershed a healthier
place too. Events will include an in-stream trash clean-up, a fresh water
mussel sampling survey, a
Childrens Discovery Carnival for families, an art show
and a tour of the Johnson Creek confluence project where folks can learn
about the large-scale in-stream habitat project that will have been constructed
this summer.
Choose one event to come to this year or attend them all!
