We started at the Ellis Street entrance. We took the Doug Fir Trail to the top of Powell Butte, then used Summit Lane and South Trail to get back to our starting point.
There were LOTS of people using the park and having fun outdoors. We didn’t see any trash or graffiti…just a lovely hike!
I’m sure that dog owners would appreciate a few more places to put their dog poop bags, because we saw those left near the trailhead. The neighbors probably don’t want to see dog poop bags either.
