I walked from the parking/restroom area. Six of the boards heading to the observation deck have been replaced. I’ve been informed by a friend that the observation deck is coming down due to the fact that it no longer serves an observation purpose except maybe in winter and vandalism. There is a camp just beyond the large, round concrete thing that I reported. I was surprised that the broken rails along the boardwalk were not replaced. A tree fell across the path (the path has been cleared) and took out a big chunk of fence.
