DESCRIPTION:Join us in Gresham for a FREE Spring Birds identification class taught by James Davis\, Metro naturalist. \nThis class will focus on all the birds that are now coming back from wintering in the tropics. This class would be a perfect intro into bird surveying with the City of Gresham for the 2014 season.  \nClass is offered by the city of Gresham and will be held at the Gresham-Barlow School District Council Chambers\, in the large conference room next to City Hall. DESCRIPTION:The  JCWC Land Use Committee will meet  April 29th from 6pm-8pm at Oaks Bottom Public House (1621 SE Bybee Blvd.\, Portland). \nTopics of discussion are Milwaukie Urban Forestry and Damascus Comprehensive Planning update. \nJCWC would like to move forward with a stronger urban forestry management approach for the City of Milwaukie\, including obtaining  Tree City USA status. This is similar to what JCWC has advocated for in Portland and Gresham in the past. \nJoin us\, share your input\, find out how you can play a part in engaging Milwaukie urban forest stake holders\, and brainstorm ideas for a plan of action that supports JCWC land use effort. \nHope to see you Tuesday evening at Oaks Bottom Public House.
