SUMMARY:Wild Gresham
DESCRIPTION:Come join local biologist Katie Holzer and wildlife photographer Caz Zyvatkauskas for a family- friendly event that will feature photos\, videos and stories about our local wildlife.  After the presentation there will be a chance to explore some unique wildlife treasures. We look forward to seeing you there! \n  \nWhen: Saturday\, November 18th\, 10:30am – 11:30am  \n  \nWhere: Gresham Library\, 385 NW Miller Ave\, Gresham \, OR 97030  \n  \nHow to prepare: This event is indoors. \n  \nWe will provide: We can provide bus fare to and from the event. Please contact Sima@jcwc.org to make arrangements. \n  \nHealth and Safety: We will follow current Oregon Health Authority guidelines. Masks are not required\, but encouraged in indoor spaces where social distancing is not possible. Stay home if you are experiencing symptoms of any contagious illness or have had recent contact with someone exhibiting symptoms of any illness. \n  \nThis is a family- friendly event. Children are encouraged to attend this event if accompanied by an attentive adult. \n  \nAccessibility: This event is at the Gresham Library\, which is ADA accessible. \n  \nRegistration: Not required to attend. \n  \nDirections: \nBy transit: The FX2 line\, #9\, #80 or #84 bus stops near the library if you’re coming from the east or west. #21 is useful if you’re coming from the north and #82 if you’re coming from the south. \nBy bike: If you’re coming from the west\, the Springwater Corridor is a beautiful way to bike to the Gresham Library. If you’re coming from the north\, 223rd is heavily- trafficked but straightforward route. From the south and east\, there are various bike routes with limited bike lanes that you can find on Google Maps.  \nBy car: From east or west\, you can take Hwy 84 to Exit 14. Turn left onto Glisan\, right onto 223rd ave which turns into Eastman Parkway\, then take a left onto NW 3rd st to find the library. \nThank you to the City of Gresham for funding and supporting this event.
