SUMMARY:EVENT FULL - 2024 Volunteer and Community Appreciation Dinner
DESCRIPTION:Johnson Creek Watershed Council cordially invites you to the Volunteer and Community Appreciation Party. Join us in celebrating all of the volunteers\, partners and community that have made a huge impact on the Johnson Creek Watershed in 2024! We could not do this work without YOU! This year our theme is about connection – how we can use our connection with each other to help our planet.  \n\n\n\nThis event has limited capacity. If you can no longer attend please email Marlee@jcwc.org and let them know.  \n\n\n\nWhat: Join us for a screening of the new documentary “Bringing the Salmon Home” a thirty minute documentary brought to us by The Columbia River Salmon Reintroduction Initiative\, a group working to reintroduce salmon to the upper Columbia River region.  \n\n\n\nWe will also have a free buffet style dinner\, volunteer awards\, raffle prizes\, and a fun community bonding activity.  \n\n\n\nWhen: Wednesday\, November 13th\, 6:00-8:00pm  \n\n\n\nWhere: Parish Hall at All Saints Episcopal Church (4033 SE Woodstock Blvd). This is also where our office is 🙂  \n\n\n\nChildren are welcome at this event if accompanied by an attentive adult. \n\n\n\nHealth and Safety: We will follow current Oregon Health Authority guidelines. Masks are not required\, but encouraged in indoor spaces where social distancing is not possible. Stay home if you are experiencing symptoms of any contagious illness or have had recent contact with someone exhibiting symptoms of any illness. \n\n\n\nAccessibility: Navigating three stairs is required to access this space. Bathrooms are provided. Seating is available. \n\n\n\nDirections: \n\n\n\nAddress – 4033 SE Woodstock Blvd\, Portland\, there will be signs directing you to the correct entrance.  \n\n\n\nBy car: There is limited parking in the building parking lot\, but ample parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Please be mindful of neighbors and do not block any driveways.  \n\n\n\nBy bike: Most roads surrounding the office are shared roads. SE Woodstock Blvd has dedicated bike lanes West of SE 41st Ave. 41st Ave has dedicated bike lanes. \n\n\n\nBy transit: Take bus line 19 or bus line 75 and get off at Woodstock & 41st.Thank you to our funders and partners for supporting watershed health.
