Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

January 17 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Dr. Martin Luther King Junior dedicated his life to advancing civil rights and fighting racism and oppression. We know that groups often look for service opportunities on Dr. MLK Jr. day, and our organization has long held an event on this day of service.

We are prioritizing offering this event to groups who choose to volunteer AND DONATE to a BIPOC led group who is working for racial justice.

Not sure who to support? There are so many great groups working for racial justice in so many forms! Here are just a few local groups we suggest that focus specifically on racial justice through a lens of intersectional environmentalism:

The Blueprint Foundation

African Youth and Community Organization

Wisdom of the Elders

Camp Elso

Tappin Roots

People of Color Outdoors
