Gresham’s Japanese Garden needs our help! Join us and the Friends of Gresham Japanese Garden for a morning of lots of work and lots of fun!

WHAT – Gresham Japanese Garden Johnson Creek bank restoration and building of path! Tasks include fortifying the south side of Tsuru Island with plant material, widening a path and creating a rock wall. Work for the day also includes pruning of junipers on the south and west slope.

WHEN – Saturday, 6/11, 9am-12pm

WHERE – Gresham Japanese Garden. 124 S Main Ave, Gresham, OR 97030. There is a parking lot at the location. 

WHAT TO BRING: No experience necessary! Dress for the weather. Wear long thick pants, a long-sleeved shirt and sturdy shoes. Bring a FULL water bottle. Instruction, tools, gloves provided, but please bring your own gloves if you have them. 

WHO – Older children welcome, and must be accompanied by an attentive adult.
