EVENT FULL -Park After Dark with Happy Valley Parks and Recreation

Mar 16, 2023 @ 6:45 pm - 8:00 pm

EVENT FULL -Registration is Required

Curious about what (or whoooo) comes out once the sun goes down? Join us as we partner with Happy Valley Parks and Recreation on a guided Park After Dark trail walk in Scouters Mountain Nature Park. Learn how to become more aware of our nocturnal neighbors – we will use our senses to discover what can be seen, heard, or even smelled on this fun night walk! You may even find animal tracks, hear owl calls, or sneak a peek at some night crawlers.

In the week leading up to the Park After Dark walk, participants will be emailed links to some resources and tips on how to identify night animals by sight and sound, so that they are well equipped once we hit the trail. On the evening of the walk, we will meet at the top of Scouters Mountain Nature Park before sunset and JCWC will share some educational insight and lead the way on trails through the park.

When: March 16th 6:45-8:00pm
