October 9 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Event Description for Stewardship Event on Saturday Oct. 9th
Date: Saturday Oct. 9th
Location: Eastmoreland Golf Course, 2425 SE Bybee Blvd. Portland 97202

Masks are required for this event.
Project: Crystal Springs Creek is the first stream to earn the Salmon Sanctuary designation by the city of Portland.
Over several years barriers to fish passage have been removed and measures have been taken to improve water quality in the stream. We will be
installing native plants along Crystal Springs Creek on the Eastmoreland Golf Course just upstream of the culvert that runs under the RR tracks.
What to expect: The partnership will provide tools and we have a limited number of pairs of gloves so you may want to bring your own.
Participants should bring their own water. There are bathrooms in the clubhouse, but you may be required to wear a mask indoors.
All volunteers will be asked to:
Bring your own gloves, tools and hand sanitizer, if possible. Tools and gloves will be available for your use, if needed
Bring and wear face coverings during the entire event or whenever within 20 feet of another individual. Face coverings will be provided to volunteers who don’t bring their own.
Abide by 6-foot physical distancing at all times, or additional distance if physical exertion results in heavy breathing.
Bring food and water needed for the duration of the event. We are not providing shared food items due to COVID-19.
