10th Annual Science Symposium

October 21 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

This year’s symposium highlights the latest research and restoration projects shaping Johnson Creek and its surrounding ecosystems. From amphibian field guides to floodplain and wetland restoration, long-term data analysis, and the Confluence Project, presenters will share discoveries that reveal how our watershed is changing—and what that means for the future.

Come learn from local scientists, graduate students, and practitioners working to better understand and restore the health of Johnson Creek.

What: Johnson Creek Science Symposium. Tickets $10.

When: Tuesday, October 21st, 1pm-5pm. The program starts promptly at 1pm. If you arrive after 1pm you will be let in during a break in programming. There will be a 30 minute break during the programming with hors d’oeuvres and refreshments available.

Where: Reed College Performing Arts Building Room 320, 3017 SE Woodstock Blvd, Portland, OR 97202. Parking is available in the Reed College West Parking Lot.

What to bring: Your burning questions on all things Johnson Creek Science! We also recommend bringing a sealable water bottle for use during the program.

What we will provide: So much science! We will also provide hors d’oeuvres and refreshments during a break mid way through the event.

Accessibility: This event requires standing or sitting for long periods of time. The venue is ADA accessible, including bathrooms.
