Share Your Johnson Creek Adventure!

We want to see YOU in the Johnson Creek Watershed, so we’re giving you the chance to show off your video storytelling skills! Create a 30-second video – make it fun/educational/creative, and if your video gets the most votes, you will win TWO (2) tickets to our Annual Celebration Fundraising Dinner and a $50 gift card to a local restaurant. We also will celebrate your effort and showcase your video – plus we’ll post and promote it on our YouTube Channel.

Johnson Creek Watershed Council is a non-profit organization working to restore the watershed for fish and wildlife and to promote stewardship of this important urban resource. Each year, we host our Annual Celebration to raise funds for and awareness about the work so many of us are doing!

Proceeds from this video contest will go to support our operational costs, so that we can continue our efforts to create a healthy Johnson Creek!

Video Contest Rules

Must be filmed in the Johnson Creek Watershed
Video Length: no longer than 30 seconds
Must be filmed with a horizontal horizon (NOT vertical like a TikTok)

To Win:
This is a donate to vote contest! Supporters will vote with their dollars, much like a walkathon or fitness challenge. JCWC will create a website with all eligible submissions. Each video submitted will receive it’s own QR code and donation page for use in promoting and sharing. Earn donations – earn votes. We’re asking for a donation of $10 per vote (a $50 donation = 5 votes). There’s no limit on the amount or number of donations a submission can get during this fun-raiser! Whoever raises the most money wins!

Grand Prize winner receives two tickets to the Annual Celebration and Dinner where their video will premiere, plus a $50 gift card to a local restaurant.

Voting opens: April 26, 2024 at 5:00 pm
Voting closes: May 17, 2024 at NOON

You are welcome to submit a video any time before voting closes. To maximize the time you have to get votes/donations for your entry, however, we recommend submitting your video before voting goes live.

To submit a video to be considered, please fill out the form below. We’re asking for a donation for each video submission of $10 (one vote), but that is just a suggestion. We are happy for any and all submissions! We reserve the right to exclude inappropriate videos from the contest.
