Meet JCWC’s new Executive Director, Jennifer Hamilton

After many months and a lot of effort by numerous individuals, the Johnson Creek Watershed Council Board of Directors is excited to announce we’ve hired Jennifer Hamilton as our new Executive Director! Jennifer began her leadership role May 21, 2025 to become intimately familiar with Johnson Creek, the Council and its mission, as well as JCWC collaborative and funding partners, and community members.

Jennifer brings a strong background in small nonprofit leadership, as well as a passion for meaningful community engagement to her new role at JCWC. As a Johnson Creek community member, Jennifer’s knowledge of the watershed is well underway.

In the coming weeks and months you can expect to hear from Jennifer directly. If you’re subscribed to our electronic newsletter, you’ll soon learn more about her background and why she was hired to lead JCWC. Thank you for welcoming Jennifer in her JCWC journey!

Our workplace

Focused on equity and inclusion

We are mighty advocates for a healthy watershed!

Johnson Creek Watershed Council values an inclusive workplace culture. Workplace culture encompasses our shared experiences, values, norms, and customs within the organization. While culture can’t be dictated or rigidly defined, we believe that having a common understanding of one’s workplace culture can provide guidance on how we can all navigate the workplace and make it a respectiful, enriching place where all our people can thrive.
