Field notes:
Observed 9 mallard ducks and one swimming nutria. Much evidence of beaver activity – several trees chewed away at base near the lower area. Area along trail was very clean except for entrances on 52nd and 45th. Shopping cart near Tenino and 45th. Three abandoned tires, trash bag at top of Tenino Court. A couple of wrappers and a bottle alongside the trail. Lots of graffiti on concrete wall above the trail and several cans, bottles there. Some snowberries evident.
