Beautiful sunny day. Lots of deer trails make it not too hard to get through the willow and alder that line the banks. Be mindful of stinging nettle. Couldn’t see any fish or fish sign, but there was a ton of wildlife sign:
for sure: beaver, muskrat, european rat, mouse, goose, duck, deer, sapsucker
possible: coyote, raccoon, nutria, otter, bobcat
I suspect this stretch of creek is too deep to see the bottom even in very clear water conditions, and the creek bed seems to be all silt so doesn’t seem a likely place for redds.
