Field notes:
Entered on water bureau road off Anderegg Loop, exited on Anderegg Trail. Observed a deer lying down in a patch of grass, two snakes sunning on the trail, and a hummingbird flitting from a small tree. Also, observed smoke from the treed area at the southwestern corner of the park—possibly a homeless campfire or someone on Foster doing an illegal burn? Parking lots both full with cars circling. Observed a lot of dog poop, even some in a bag, as well as cigarette butts on the trail.
