Field notes:
Entered the park at Ellis St and took the Douglas Fir trail to the top, then the Summit loop. Saw a Douglas squirrel (thanks for the ID Christian), a Kestrel, a Cedar Waxwing, and song sparrow. Not many birds, still plenty of pollinators. Everything is crispy-dry. Only a couple postings on inaturalist.
