At the very beginning of the survey, tucked in beneath the trees right along the creek, there were 2 different tents. We did not see any people, but decided not to walk right along the creek through that space. There were a few other locations where walking right along the creek was a little difficult because of trees, brush, and steep banks, but we were able to make our way back to the creek eventually.
The creek was very high the day we surveyed, and the water was muddy and murky, so we were not able to see any fish.
Right near the end, we saw hundreds of “rock people” all over the place which was very cool.
