Despite the lack of rain, Crystal Springs is flowing right along. Vegetation of all kinds is close to the Springs providing shade even on this hot, sunny day. The invasive tree in the triangle area remains untreated and is getting overgrown again. I’d forgotten my clippers so couldn’t cut back. I walked along S.E. 21st to Tenino and on the way back, right by the guard rail POKEWEED! It’s looking pretty well established and will be a challenge to dig out. I picked up a small amount of trash.
